The Fastest Communication Today: Email

The fastest way to communicate with the greatest amount of people in the shortest amount of time is by email.

There use to be a joke, The fastest communication: telephone, telegraph and tell-a-woman. I think the reason you don’t hear this joke any more is not because it is old and worn but because it is out dated. The fastest way to reach a wide audience, in today’s modern world, is to send an email.

Last week I received some great responses to my blog. I would like to thank all of you for your comments. Due to the response from the Active Rain community and because I know some of the horrific details of that fiasco, I thought the subject would make a great email. My title was Alert: Malicious Spyware on the Loose.

I sent the email to everyone on my contact list, personal and business. The email was opened and read by all the recipents.

So, what is my point? Simply, not all of the emails you send out need to be real estate or marketing related. You can share valuable information with your clients, prospects, relatives and friends (everyone on your contact list).

The next time you read a blog or an article that has valuable infomation, send that information by email to those in your contact management database. They will appreciate the it. For example, just sending the free support phone number and the link to the free safety scanner provided by Microsoft would be of value to anyone.

Your email could quickly reach hundreds of prospects when the recipent forwards your email to someone they know, that would also benefit from the information.

Most people forward emails as soon as they have read them. You could find that you have not only reached hundreds of people you don’t even know, but you did it in a matter of hours, with a minimum of time invested on your part.

When you give you always receive back. By sharing safety tips, alerts, articles, and the like you are letting your contacts know you care about them, on every level, not only as a potential transaction. Because you care, your name will stay in their minds. When the subject of your email or real estate comes up in a conversation they are more likely to recommend you or suggest that the other party should be on your email list.

Emails can increase your presence (in the fastest way possible) not only in your home town but around the world!
