Brainshark Gives Your Presentations Bite
We all know that video is an extremely popular medium to promote yourself and your listings. Static photos alone just don’t cut it anymore. While a slideshow is lovely, a virtual tour is even better. But, if you’re looking to create a professional looking presentation with photos, documents and even a vocal track, you are going to want something bigger. And I have found a totally free site called Brainshark: Brainshark. Brainshark gives your presentations bite!
Recently, I was trying to find a program that would convert PowerPoint presentations into video so that I could create my own professional looking videos. That’s when I found Brainshark. All you need is a telephone, whatever photos, documents or slides you wish to use and an internet connection. Once you create your FREE account and upload the slides, you will be given a phone number to call and your own unique password to use. Simply follow the prompts on the telephone to give your narration for each slide. The slide will stay up on the presentation for as long as your narrative goes on for that particular slide. If you have one slide that is a photo of a guest bedroom, you may not have alot to say about it. However, you may want to point out all the wonderful upgrades in the kitchen. So, the kitchen slide will stay up for the duration of your narrative. That way you don’t have to cram everything you want to say into a short amount of time and you won’t have to fill time up when there isn’t a whole lot to say, keeping your video moving along at a decent pace.
Each video provides an embed code, a link and a share feature. Realtors® can use the embed code to add the video to their website, blogs and even some email. However, if you can’t use the embed code when you want to send an email blast out announcing a new listing (for example), you can provide a convenient link that your data base can click on. With the share feature, you or any of the viewers of your video can easily add it to social media, such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc. or email it to someone else. This can get your video to go viral. And, since each individual video includes a description, a link to all of the videos you have created and the ability to add tags using your keywords, it is another excellent opportunity for SEO.
Since some people don’t want to bother to read a slideshow presentation for themselves and static photos can be boring, creating a presentation that people can listen to as well as watch engages your website or blog visitor and keeps them interested in staying on your site or blog to see what other interesting things you may have to offer. Just remember that Brainshark gives your presentations bite! If you need help or have questions, please contact me. I absolutely love this product and think you will, too. The possibilities for its use are endless!
